Confetti Chocolate Custard
Confetti Chocolate Custard
Need an easy, dreamy dessert to wow guests? Look no further than this confetti chocolate custard. Growing up in Brussels I developed a chocolate addiction and am a total chocolate snob! The key is to use the best chocolate possible. This confetti chocolate custard is more cake-like in texture and it takes me back to childhood. My girls decided to add jelly beans and sprinkles in true American fashion.
Ingredients
- 4 oz dark chocolate
- 1 stick of butter
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- jelly beans and sprinkles to decorate
Notes
1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. Melt chocolate in a microwavable safe bowl with butter. Let cool.
3. Using a kitchen aid mix eggs and sugar until thick, then add in the dry ingredients.
4. Fold in the room temperature chocolate and butter mixture and divide among 8 ramekins. Bake for 25 minutes.
5. Decorate with jelly beans, sprinkles or mini candy bars. Glaze optional.

Even this tired mom can make this. Can’t wait to see the look of joy on my kid’s face when he see these!
