Churro Waffle
Growing up in Brussels, I have eaten my share of chunky, warm and sugary waffles: Les Gauffres aux Sucres. I love replicating a childhood favorite dish with Maxine. If you don’t have a waffle maker go buy one as soon as possible. Nothing like brushing melted butter on the waffles to then rolling them in a dish of cinnamon sugar. We made chocolate ganache to drizzle over. Because more is more when it comes to a good sugar rush!

Ingredients
For the Chocolate Ganache
- ½ cup milk
- 1 bar good quality semi-sweet chocolate chopped
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Bring milk to boil and add maple syrup.
- Turn off the heat and add in the chocolate.
- Mix until dissolved.
